Shopping in Athens - Greece?

Where will you recommend we go for shopping in Athens? Traditional Greek items.





Not really looking for shopping malls etc. I think if you saw one, you saw all - shopping malls I mean.

I agree with the other answerers. "Plaka" and "Monastiraki" ( especially the flea market are very nice. Another experience that you will like to see is the Athens Central Market. Have a nice stay.

Reply:If you want the kind of touristy stuff, go down to the acropolis. Believe me, you can't miss the shops. They're all over the place. Otherwise, grocery stores is pretty much where you'll find traditional Greek items.
Reply:Go to the Plaka. Its nice, safe, fun and close to the Acropolis and other cool stuff.

The prices are low and they sell everything


When you're standing in the square, you get a lovely view of the Acropolis. This market is a must-see if you like shopping!~
