Shopping in Waikiki?

Where can you shop in Waikiki, Hawaii? Are there some decent shopping centres with brands such as Abercombie and Fitch or department stores like Macy's and Bloomingdales? Or is there an outlet shopping centre? Or is there a Forever 21 store there?

Shopping in Waikiki?
;) ...... have no fear...... you're in Paradise - in more ways than one!!!

Check out this map and you'll notice on the bottom left..... an arrow to the Ala Moana Centre - HOME SWEET HOME for shopping freaks! You can walk, take the trolley car buses, taxes or maybe a shuttle - just ask your hotel. My wife and I stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village.... and walked a few times.

OK, where do I start.....

1. Ala Moana Centre is a MASSIVE shopping centre "Open Air" with all the BIG department stores and plenty of the ones you're looking for..... apparently it's "WORLD FAMOUS"..... here's a link

2. A little further down that same Ala Moana Blvd.... past the MASSIVE Ala Moana Centre... you have Norstrom %26amp; the RACK.... if you like shoes... "designer shoes"..... you'll be in HEAVEN. It's called the Ward Shopping Centres

My wife bought 6 pairs and convinced me to buy two pairs as well... they have plenty of fashion as well... but it's all about the shoes! $150-300 shoes on SALE for $15-80 ------ JUST WARNING YOU - it's dangerous - you will spend more than you plan..... but it's worth it.

3. International Marketplace is worth the walk and is an experience in itself.... it's on the Waikiki strip and is all about gifts and jewelery and plenty of other stuff.

4. There is a COSTCO too.... if you need that sort of stuff. It's closer to downtown Honolulu/Waikiki.

Oh, and the beaches are good too..... if you want to go to the beaches out on the South Eastern tip.... they are gorgeous! Link for your reference http://www.driveguidemagazines.com/oahu_...

That's where the locals go.... it's less touristy and much more beautiful!

ENJOY, HAWAII is very relaxing and has a tropical fragrance that you'll not tire of. But your pocket book will eventually empty. ;)
Reply:sweety i don't know where to shop in waikiki, but if i was there shopping would be the last thing i'd be doing. i'd be on the beach getting some sun and having a good time rather than being in a stuffy mall.. that i could do anytime. i'll go there and you go here, its 12 degrees in nyc.. wanna switch????
Reply:If you want all those department staores you should shop at Ala Moana shopping center. It is right before you get to Waikiki on your left hand side. You can't miss it, it is huge. you want touristy stuff shop at Hilo Hatties that is also at Ala Moana, or in Waikiki at the international market place, right across from the Moana Hotel on Kalakaua ave. There is an outlet place over in Waikele that is on the west end of the island. They have trollies that can take you there is you do not want to drive, or take the bus.
Reply:Visit DFS Waikiki, it got wide variety of name brand merchandises. http://www.dfsgalleria.com/Galleria/Engl...
Reply:You should go to the Ala Moana shopping center, they have some really good stuff on the top floors, and it's all open-air, it's really cool, and it has views of Waikiki, so it's not far away.

Also just on the street they have a couple good boutiques, such as cartier, etc.

They have outlets, the Waikele premium outlets.

They have also just a regular mall (this was my favorite there, don't ask me why), Pearlridge Center, it's just like a regular mall.

Reply:yes there are plenty of places like that. there is a road that runs parallel to waikiki beach and along that road there is all kinds of shopping places. they have macys, gucci, harley davidson, stupid people factory, coach, and even the international market place. its alot of fun just to walk along that road and see what all they do have. Waikiki has plenty of other shopping too! you just have to ask people there and the locals are all pretty nice and are willing to help you find places.
Reply:Yes, there are quite a few malls and stores. The majority of these stores and malls are along the Nimitz, the main drag that runs through Waikiki. Nimitz becomes Ala Moana. The mall named this is quite big. Hawaii does have alot more than shopping to offer and the little ABC stores are great for tourists. Make sure to check out Round Top, Diamond Head, and Temple of the Valleys.
