I am currently shopping for an iPod. The thing is I don't know where to start. All I know is that I want one of those regular iPods that have always been around, with the little screen that you use to look at the songs. I don't care how much space it has, seeing as 30 GBs is already good enough. The problem is idk where to shop for one. What is the average price that a customer should pay for a brand new 30 GB iPod and where would be the best place to shop for it, whether it be online or at a store?
IPod Shopping?
they are all pretty much the same price no matter where you buy them when looking at the nano. 30 and 80 gb models. You can get them at Circuit City Walmart Target anywhere and the price will be very very close because they are pretty much in demand. I would not buy the store warranty but buy the extended warranty which you can buy direct from apple on line - if you have an apple store near you - go there and get everything!! LOVE the iPod - great product and great fun!!
Reply:uhh, you want a 30 GB?? i dont think they make them that small. i have a silver NANO, 200 gb. it has a screen, and a round scrolly thingy :). it was about 150 dollars. I got it at RadioShack, you can get them at the Apple store, Circuit City, any electronics place. If you want an Ipod mini, they do not have screens and have 100 gb, they're 75 dollars
Reply:By not getting an ipod. Trust me, I've been there, it will do nothing but get people to say 'ooh my friend has one just like it!' Then it will give you hardship from It's constant breaking that fixes itself so you can't return it. Then 3 days after it's warrenty, it will full out break not being able to be fixed or refunded. I'm not the only person this has happend to so seriously. Do NOT get an ipod!!! dont ask a current ipod owner about it either, cause if they havn't owned it long enough or are really lucky and got a good one they will try to defend them when really your chances of getting such a good ipod that wont break, are well... SLIM.
Plus, everyone has an ipod now. There are few people at my school that have something other than an ipod. There are alot of other mp3 players that have more accesories, or just plain music player if thats what you want. Do more shopping around the internet or at best buy or other stores before you decide with an ipod.
For instance, I have a Creative ZenV. It has alot of accesories, music, video, pictures, redording, radio, more than an ipod, and generally cheaper, smaller, better looking, and it's held up ALOT longer than my old ipod.
So form someone with expirience, think alittle longer okay?
