Has anyone else noticed how 'same' and boring shopping for Christmas gifts has become?
Go to the local major Shopping centre and it's the same old stuff. K Mart, Big W, Noni B, Sussan, Katies, Kleins etc. I truly lament the loss of the old shopping strip where independent shop owners created a business and were able to stand up to the BIG Multi-Nationals.
Went to Mornington today and actually found a great little store with friendly, actually helpul, staff with such different little things to buy for that person who seems to have everything.
Thank God for independent retailers!
Who else suffers the - seen that - syndrome when looking for interesting items?

im with ya...i love in a smaller town so there are many boutiques that are different!!
