Any known surf shop on Front St., Lahaina Town or stick to Whaler's village (the hotel shops, they might be pricey though). Stay away from the obvious looking tourist's shops. Actually, if you don't mind, the tourists shops have fun and unique clothing, they are cheaper the the chains and the quality is not so bad. Besides, the tourists shops are a lot more "fun." Can't (and shouldn't) recommend any one shop in particular. Try them all!!
Reply:Lahaina is the best shopping on Maui-it's a mix of touristy/artsy/regular chain stores like Gap %26amp; Banana Republic, etc... If you want HIGH end shopping, head to the shops at Wailea in Wailea or Whalers Village in Kaanapalii for the likes of Chanel %26amp; Louis V. Otherwise, stick to Lahaina.
Reply:Lahina Town has some really cool stores. Just watch out for any cheesy tourist traps and hit the Rock and Roll museum and the Whalers Locker.
