I like shopping and I'm a guy is this wrong?

My mom can't stand shopping, but I like shopping. I'm not like a woman shopping(No offense ladies) I got to Mall every so 2 weeks and get clothes from Hollister. I usually spend around $100 in there. Other day spent $70. $30 polo Shirt from Hollister and $41 for low rise boot cut jeans from American Eagle. I don't know why I like to shop. I also like playing video games (No surprise for men). I don't shop as much anymore. Most things I won't get because to expensive. I only shop when I have extra cash.

I like shopping and I'm a guy is this wrong?
SORRY, BUT THIS IS NOT OFFICIALLY CONSIDERED SHOPPING BY ANY TRUE MAN OR LADY SHOPAHOLIC.


THIS IS JUST GOING OUT AND GETTING SUPPLIES BECAUSE YOU HAVE SOME MONEY FINALLY COMING IN!!!


SHOPPING IS ALMOST A TALENT NOW IT'S BEING ABLE TO GO AND GET 16 ITEMS ALL NAME BRANDS WITH THE BUDGET YOU JUST MENTIONED.


A TRUE SHOPPER WILL APROACH A SALE LIKE IT'S HUNTING SEASON AND COME OUT LOOKING BEAUTIFUL IN THE END WITH MONEY STILL IN THE POCKET, TRUST AND BELIEVE, RIGHT GIRLS???!!!

tbh, i wish more guys would pay attention to clothing and would take the time to buy things that suit them.

I kind of like shopping just cuz it means im getting new things.. and i like new things.





And I'm not gay or anything lol which is the stereotype of guys who like to shop.

Reply:No, there is nothing wrong with liking to shop. It means you are self reliant. You care how you look and present your self to others. I do the samething and I also like to cook. My wife tells her friends that I cook better than she does. Being well rounded only goes to improve ones self. Never look upon it as a flaw. Do what pleases you, to hell with what anyone else thinks.

Reply:Everybody likes to get new clothes. So do I (when I have the money).. Some people have more style sense then others and are more active in updating themselves.. while others (like me) usually aren't..

2 weeks is fair, as long as you don't go there every two hours!


Hollister, hmm? I love that place, the clothes are great and the prices aren't bad. I know quite a few guys who love Ralph, Industrie and Tsubi. Try them. Also, buy clothes that bring out your hair and eyes (eg. red polos bring out light brown hair/eyes and looks very hot on pretty much any guy. Girls love classical colours but perhaps not too many exuberant stripes, patterns etc.)





But all in all. It's perfectly cool that you like to shop, so long as you don't go overboard like buy men's makeup and become vainer than your girlfriend!

Reply:No, I think some guys like shopping. My bro likes to go on shopping expeditions a few times a year--he likes to get a lot of clothes, all at once. He always insists that I go along, to give him fashion advice. :) He likes playing video games too. But I don't think it's weird or un-masculine or anything. I would think most girls would love to have a guy who didn't throw a fit every time they set foot inside a mall!!
