Hi guys - my sisters going to Nottingham tomorrow, to look at the Nottingham University - and shes putting some shopping time in. Just a question on her behalf.
How good is the shopping in Nottingham? Can you recommend any shops that are a bit of the beaten track where she can get a few unusual items from maybe?
What are the other shops like?

Nottingham is great for shopping. Just go into the shopping centre, and there are loads of small streets going off that with shops. It's pretty easy to get round, you can't get lost! Couple of good shopping centres aswell, just off the main square there is the Victoria Shopping Centre which is pretty good. Theres a very good tram system in the city aswell so it's easy to get around.
Reply:There's the main shopping precinct which has a really cool fountain centrepiece. Other than that I've never been able to escape the gravitational pull of the Trip to Jerusalem pub, sorry :-(
