i need help..
i am a 15 year old girl, and i rly need to go shopping!! my parents dont understand that the body of a girl my age changes.
when i ask my parents to go shopping, my dad says go with ur mom. and my mom never has time, coz she is rly busy.
i dont mind going shopping with my friend, but the prob is, i dont know how much money i will b needing and i cant ask for a very high amount!! in this country i live in every thing is expensive, and my dad thinks i spend a bit too much, coz my allawence is rly high and i have alot of demands!!! what should i do, how can i tell my dad i need clothes!!! i have been wearing the same thing over and over i cant stand wearing it again!!!
SHOPPING?? help?
Tell you need new clothes and ask if there are some extra chores you could do around the house. And just keep saving. Or just drag them along. Or just keep begging. Try getting down on your knees and begging. And get spell check. It makes you what we call on neopets a n00B.

You can do fun things to jeans, like bleach them.
[Watch out, you'll never be able to turn them back to blue again.]
You can draw on Converse, make them look good.
You can color converse.
You can buy white t-shirts, and you can dye it.
You can buy really [cheap] baggy pants, [cotton] and buy fabric paint, and design those.
If you seriously need to buy clothes.
You can go somewhere cheaper. [Kohl's?]
You can buy t-shirts, and not get jeans.
(After all, they all do look the same!)

Reply:Tell them the truth about your body changing. Also tell them that it is extremely difficult to somehow "fit in" (just to decorate your pleas) among other students with the clothes you have now. They'll probably give you "you're wonderful the way you are, or don't be afraid to be different" but calmly tell them times have changed and it would make things so much easier. Don't get anything to racy or else they'll get pissed off. And if you want trendy but pretty clothes go to Forever 21. They have good clothes that aren't too expensive. Or Rave, but watch for quality here, their stuff breaks. Hope this helps!
Reply:Go through fashion magazines, look online and get a feel for what items you might need and the cost. Take that to your parents and suggest a dollar amount. You don't have to have the most expensive or everything. They will realize you are making an honest effort at attaining those articles of clothing you need. Reply:The best thing would be to sit him down and explain the whole ordeal to him. Tell him the truth. Tell him exactly the reasons you need some new clothes. Tell him that your body is changing and you really dont know of any other way to say it but you need a few new things.

Reply:I suggest going to Abercrombie.You dont have to buy all the expensive stuff, there is a $10,$15 table. My mom wont let me buy expensive things, so I always head over there.But once and a while if I REALLY love something, then maybe just maybe my mom lets me get it......and Abercrombie is in style....lol :o)

Shopping (off the beaten track) sxm?
I'm wondering what shopping is available in sxm. Not looking for tourist shops (live in the vi, been there, done that). I've seen an antiques shop in simpons bay, anyhting else like that, or department stores, etc? Or fabric stores? Art supplies? All the websites I've seen are electronics and jewelry..

I live in Toledo, Oh and not looking to drive more than 3 hours to get somewhere to shop. I have shopped all in toledo, ann arbor, detroit. I am looking for some place else to shopping with my mother. Any ideas where we could go? I was thinking about Lansing, MI?

Shopping at different places for tweens?
I luv shoppin at limited too (and im a girlygirl) but i want to start shoppin at stores like aeropastle, holister, lucaya, forever 21 and stuff lyk dat. But d problem is dat I'm short for my age. Im in 6th grade and i luv limited too. where also can i shop so i have a variety of brand clothes? (and please dont say to stop shopping at LTD TOO. I'll decide where to shop)

Fortunately, many of those stores you mentioned have clothes with shorter inseams. Try Delia*s and Alloy, they have short inseams available.
Also, consider abercrombie Kids. They're sorta like Ltd Too, in the way they fit (more flattering, slimmer fitting items that are more like smaller adult clothes rather than little girl clothes) but have a nice, casual style. They're also not as pricy as Abercrombie and Fitch.

since you want to buy some cheaper things you should go to the street markets. go to lady street and flower street.
you would find a lot of nice clothes in flower street
theres one store in hong kong that sells american/european brands for a lot less. its located in flower street. you have to go find it upstairs. so when you go on flower street look up and you will see a sign that says something like Fashion Paradise.
then you have to go to the gate and get buzzed in.
it looks a little sketchy when you go int he elevator but trust me its actually decent when you get up there.
they sell clothes from banana republic, jcrew... etc..

Shopping Theme for scrapbook about myself?
For Journalism, we have to make a scrapbook about ourselves. I thought a shopping theme would be great because i ♥ to shop. The book has to have 5 catagories:
Family
Friends
Colorguard (intrest)
School
"The Family Dollar" will be the headline of my family section because it is a store.
What headlines or creative things could i stick in my scrapbook that has to do with shopping?

Maybe go and take pictures of your favorites stores and put some neighborhood shops that you frequent also. If you and your friends like to go shop for ear-rings, etc... take pics of you and your friends trying on goofy hats, bracelets etc.. and journal how you all are different but great friends.
What is your mom's favorite store? Dad's favorite store or store where he gets his sporting goods equipment, his hobbies and what he buys for them, etc..
Colorguard .... well I guess 'color' and where maybe you and your colorguard have gone together when on trips? Or take a poll with your colorguard peers and to ask their favorite stores.
School supplies and what each thing costs would be cool so as decades go by one can compare inflation and what supplies have become obsolete. Like protractors are rarely used now and those computer calculators are on the lists for high school where as when I was a kid they were strictly college tools.
You might poll your family and/or friends and ask them if you had one store to have a limitless shopping spree what would pick and why. It can be any store from Target to Neiman-Marcus... That is a fun questioin and kind of gives a feel of the person and their likes/dislikes. Plus it would be fun to see how you and your friends change as you get older on how your likes/dislikes change.
Your 'shopping' theme is a great topic, especially if you are going to major in journalism. You'll be given tough topics and you'll have to think out of the box frequently.

Then "shopping" for food and more stuff on the trips.
good luck! My daughter had to do a scrapbook in high school and did animal themes. Like, how she was like a "tiger", how she was loyal like a dog, etc. She had five sections too, each a different animal. It was real cute.
